Hydro Mulch

Hydro-Mulches are designed to be used in planting grass, wildflower seeds, grass stolons, live sprigs or other seeds, alone or in, combination with fertilizer. Hydro-Mulches create a greenhouse effect, insulating the seed, protecting it against erosion, aids in soil temperature moderation and allows moisture to reach the soil to accelerate seed germination. A two-man crew can cover more than 10 acres in a single days’ work.

We carry Mat-Fiber 100% wood fiber mulch, Mat-Fiber Plus with added tackifier, Mat-Blend 50/50, 50% wood fiber blended with 50% recycled paper, Mat-Blend 50/50 Plus with added tackifier. Hydro-Mulches are available in 50 pound bales.
